Southampton, NY — MiDO Galería is pleased to present contemporary artist Chris Arnold at the Hamptons Fine Art Fair 2026, marking the artist's first presentation with the gallery and his second appearance at the prestigious fair. Located at Booth 212, MiDO Galería will showcase a focused collection of three new paintings created specifically for this year's event.

Held at the Southampton Fairgrounds, the Hamptons Fine Art Fair brings together leading galleries, collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts from around the world. More than a traditional commercial art fair, the event is deeply connected to the rich artistic legacy of the Hamptons, with exhibition pavilions named in honor of Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning.

For this special presentation, Arnold has created three new works that continue his exploration of nature, wonder, memory, and human connection. Among the featured paintings is a work inspired by his experience exhibiting in the Hamptons last summer and the extraordinary gardens that define the region's unique beauty and character.

Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, Arnold creates immersive environments that blend observation and imagination. His paintings draw inspiration from direct experiences in gardens, forests, and coastal landscapes, resulting in compositions that balance expressive abstraction with recognizable forms. Rich color, energetic brushwork, and layered storytelling invite viewers into spaces that feel both familiar and dreamlike.

Through his work, Arnold explores themes of joy, curiosity, mystery, and belonging. Botanical forms become vehicles for storytelling, encouraging viewers to discover personal narratives and hidden moments within each painting.
